One of the best summer activities in Northern Nevada is to go to one of the many outdoor concerts in Reno. Can’t you feel the warm air, smell the fresh cut grass, hear the live music and see the sun setting in the background?
To help bring more music, art, and culture to the Biggest Little City, Dickson Realty and several of our agents are sponsoring several summer concerts in Reno. With a variety of artists, dates, and locations, you're sure to find one that works for your schedule!
Concerts on the Village Green
From 6 to 8 p.m., every Sunday in Village Green Park, everyone can enjoy live music, food trucks and fun at Concerts on the Village Green. These concerts in Reno are sponsored by the Caughlin Ranch Homeowners Association, Dickson Realty and our agents Bonnie Lowder, Dee McNeely, Donna Fuller, Greta Mestre, Jan Peck, and Trudy Brussard.
As part of Artown, these concerts in Reno are free and open to the public at Village Green Park in Caughlin Ranch. Village Green Park is located at the corner of Village Green & Caughlin Parkway, just off McCarran Blvd.
Bring your own low-back chairs, coolers and picnic dinners or order from one of the food trucks, including Mr. Margarita Frozen Margaritas & Beer, Espinoza’s Mexican Food Truck, and Bibo Freddo Gelato.
Each Sunday brings a different musician or group to Village Green Park. The lineup for the rest of the concerts includes:
Sunday, July 14: Shiloh
Shiloh is a fun and lively duo from Northern Nevada featuring Tim Gorelangton and Julie Machado. The two University of Nevada, Reno graduates, play folk, country, ballads, blues and bluegrass on guitar and bass.

Sunday, July 28: The Killer Bees
You'll love this dynamic, versatile and eclectic trio featuring Marcy Benner/lead vocals, Gary Douglas, Guitar/Lead vocals, Billy Slais “The Legend” Sax and keys. Listen as they play contemporary favorites from the '80s to today.

The 19th Annual Concert On The Green
Join us for the best party of the summer in the heart of Montrêux during the annual Montrêux Concert on the Green on Sunday, July 21. The Reno Jazz Orchestra will heat up the stage with a full dose of Aretha Franklin’s memorable hits, gospel, some of her jazz and even a little opera.
The evening begins with a picnic at 4:30 p.m. and then the music plays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Bring your low-back chairs and relax in the shade of the tall pines at the Patty Sheehan Practice Hole.
As a founding sponsor of this event 19 years ago, Dickson Realty is proud to be part of the Montrêux and support events such as the Concert on the Green.
Make sure to check out the Dickson Realty booth, where we’ve partnered with Bently Heritage Estate Distillery to fill all of our wine tumbler giveaways. The mixologists over at Bently Heritage Estate Distillery and Dickson's Sullivan-Wonhof-Gore Luxury Real Estate Team created "The Closer," a Juniper Grove gin, Thai basil, lemongrass peppercorn syrup, and lemon juice. Yum!
Montrêux is a private, gated Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course community. While the concert is free, you’ll need an invitation to attend. Request one by contacting one of the Dickson Realty Montrêux agents who are co-sponsoring the event: Brook Sullivan, Monica Gore or Rob Wonhof.
Hope to see you at one of these great summer concerts in Reno!
