Brauhaus 701
To get your fix of brats and beer, check out Brauhaus 701, a new German-American fusion Midtown Reno restaurant. Brauhaus 701 combines some German-inspired fan favorites like pretzels and bratwurst, with traditional options such as wings and salads. Their beer selection includes drafts from Germany and Czech. The restaurant also boasts eco-friendly practices, sourcing ingredients from local suppliers, and using only biodegradable materials.

Code Coffee
Code Coffee started with a simple idea: to connect the community over a great cup of coffee. Owner Destinee Sanford modeled Code Coffee to support and serve the people who serve our community: police officers, EMTs, hospital workers, firefighters, and other public health and safety professionals. The menu includes classic drip coffees, lattes, juices, and hot and iced teas. For eats, Code Coffee bakes fresh pastries and offers a variety of delicious grab-and-go options for breakfast or lunch. Plus, first responders and military personnel, past or present, always receive 20 percent off all food and drinks.

Dorinda's Chocolates
In the same building as Code Coffee, you can soon find one of Reno’s favorite confectioners: Dorinda's Chocolates. Word has it that the company is opening a chocolate factory and offices in a newly renovated space on Wells Avenue. Dorinda’s is the home of all natural hand-dipped chocolates, created by the store’s namesake, Dorinda Vance. The confectioner only uses whole, fresh ingredients, including quality chocolate, nuts, caramels, fruit juices, and more.

Finbomb Sushi
One of the best places to get a fresh, fast sushi burrito or poke bowl in Midtown Reno is FinBomb Sushi & Poké. Midtown Tacos
Tucked behind Death and Taxes in the Cheney Street Alley, this small taco shop serves up big flavors. Originally opened by Midtown Eats owners Ivan Fontana and Sadie Bonnette, this Midtown Reno restaurant is recently under new ownership. The Rodriguez-Garcia family will be taking over operations of the restaurant and building on its unique atmosphere and menu.

Perenn Bakery
If you see a line of people snaking around St. Lawrence Ave., looking longingly for a freshly baked chocolate croissant or a buttery kouign-amann, then they’re waiting to get into Perenn Bakery. This is one of several popular Midtown Reno restaurants, so make sure to get there early before the goods are sold out. In addition to pastries and cookies, Perenn bakes a variety of breads, including baguettes and other artisan loaves. Want to nibble on something savory to balance out the sweet? Try a tartine or a ham and butter baguette.

Rue Bourbon
Get a taste of the Big Easy in the Biggest Little City at Rue Bourbon, a New Orleans style restaurant and bar serving cocktails and small bites.
